541 terns on the dunes as it became light, by 6am of these, - 39 Black Terns both adults and juveniles (50%), only 1 Sandwich Tern a juvenile, a couple of adult Arctic terns too, the remainder appearing to be Common Terns, mainly adult with very few juveniles in the flock.
The flock appeared to fly off at c630am.........but... who knows, poor weather all day and very high tides.
Also 5 Sanderling, a few Dunlin and Ringed Plover, 1 Redshank and 1 adult Kittiwake
