Marloes to Martins Haven and Gann

Marloes Mere: Willow warblers and Chiffchaff everywhere. Conservative numbers 40 Willow warblers and 20 Chiffchaff. 30 Wheatear. First Swifts at the mere (and one Mullock bridge). 3 White wagtails and 20 Pied, masses of gnats hatching.  2 Whitethroat. 2 Blackcap. 26 Chough in Trehills stubble field. 3 Snipe near Martins Haven and another 15 Wheatear including a couple of striking Greenland types. Gann: Summer plumage Black-tailed godwit, 23 Dunlin, 20 Ringed plover, 7 Whimbrel, 2 Brent. Lesser whitethroat singing on the steep blackthorn bank on northside of the lagoons. Goshawk over the road near Talbenny/St Brides cross road.
