We have recently started putting out sunflower hearts and they certainly attract goldfinches. In addition to chaffinches, sparrows and tits etc, we have had two bramblings and two greenfinches over the last few days. These are the first greenfinches we have seen in the garden for over a year. A pair of bullfinches are stripping the winter flowering honeysuckles of their buds having taken the berries from the himalayan honeysuckle.
